I have an EQ 6 with additional books 2,3,4. I understand a lot of people use it for designing quilts, doing round robins etc. I haven't had a lot of time to learn it, can anyone tell me the easiest way to do this. Take a class, set aside time each weekend to learn a section any ideas are welcome.

best way to learn is to have time to do it. I am one who would say set time aside and read, do, and practice.

I would sit down and spend 20-30 minutes reading and then do the lessons. I went over the first 3 in EQ7 2-3 times until I was very comfortable with them and then added an additional lesson or two each time.
I made sure I understood each one before moving on to the next one.
I thought the first 3 were the most difficult, and the rest were over all much easier :D:D:D

You can learn what you need to know from the book.
Then spend time playing with the program, and you will get a quick feel for it!

There are some video tutorials on YouTube. Here's one http://www.youtube.com/ElectricQuilt#p/u/3/-yxzADmaPd0 of them. Enjoy!
