JoAnn's OnLine has 50% off coupon, and I'm thinking of using it for a bolt of Warm & White batting, but I haven't used this batting before. I machine quilt all my quilts.

Has anyone used this batting for machine quilting? What's your opinion of it.

I've been using Hobbs 80/20, and I like it for machine quilting.

I use warm & natural or warm & white and they both work very well..I do simple work, but the batting holds it's shape, stays flat, and I love the look and feel when it's done.

It's the only batting I use for my quilts. Warm and Natural or Warm and White.

I use both Warm and White and Warm and Natural on all the quilts I make. I love how they drape after they are washed. They are also very cozy.

I like Warm and Natural/White the best. Used to use polyester batting until I tried this. It's so easy to machine quilt.

It's my favorite too. In fact, I just bought a bolt of it. On the frame, it seems to hold it's shape better than Hobbs- it doesn't stretch out. And it holds up, even after 30+ washings. (Yes, I sleep with dogs, and my bed quilts are washed very often.) I've used a few other brands, but keep going back to warm and white (or warm and natural, but I make alot of white quilts, so I just buy the white and don't worry about it)

GO for it.

I use both of them and love the way they lay. I have never had a problem with either.

I have had it on the bolt a few times. But now I am using Hobbs more often and actually I prefer it to W&N. I think it depends on what you want--W&N seems to stiffen up more and lay flatter.

I love using Warm and White, or Warm and Natural for machine quilting. It naturally "sticks" a bit to your fabric so as long as you pin or baste, it won't shift around. If you do a really dense quilting pattern, it may feel a bit stiff once you're done - just wash it and it will soften up.
It washes and dries very well.
