Thumbs up Ergonomic cutting tool

I find the Fiskar Combination Rotary Cutter/Ruler very helpful. It is great for strips and squaring up edges but is not for small piece cutting. I've had surgery on both thumbs and one carpal tunnel and am always looking for tools to make quilting easier. (I just can't give up quilting!! which I probably should!!) The blade seems to last forever since it doesn't get nicked like the hand held ones. And I don't think it would be possible to cut yourself using this cutter because it retracts unless you apply pressure. Pressure is applied with the heel of the hand. I am glad I purchased it about a year ago.
