Congratulations! What a find! See , our good works are rewarded even if we are not looking for a reward. I never find any deals, even at Good Will. Enjoy the fabric!

Last fall my girlfriend spotted a sale on Craig's list for bolts of fabrics. We make charity quilts and were in desperate need of backing fabrics. We went as soon as they opened and bought quite a bit for about $1.50 a yard. At the end of the day, they had a lot left and we went back and bought the rest. I spent about $216, and got dozens of bolts of quilting cotton, some of them not even opened and all from a closed quilt shop. I also got batting, cheap. That fabric has been a godsend, and will last a long time. It's the best deal I ever had.

As a rule, I hit estate sales only on the last day of the sale. In our city, estate and garage sales are limited to 2 days. Usually, at estate sales, everything is half off the second day of the sale. The prices are more reasonable then.
