Love my 1/4 inch guide on my machine. If hand piecing I have a 1/4 inch ruler that I use and draw the lines with pencil. I don't trust my eyes.

When I found the 1/4" foot with guide it changed my piecing. I ordered one for every machine I have. The 1/4" foot without guide is no use to me at all.

I use the 1/4" foot all the time. The other day I was sewing a garment for a friend and realized I was still using the 1/4" foot. Had to rip it out--standard is 5/8" seam for garments.

I use my 1/4" foot AND my guide attachment that I got with my new machine. I love it and I've never had better seams...not perfect but much more accurate then they use to be.

I use my 1/4" foot and a 1/4" guide I made using masking tape. It's perfect for me.

Aargh! The other day I was supposed to be dong 1/4" and had forgotten to change something on my machine. The finished block was to be 12 1/2" and it was only 12". I had to add a border. How irritating! But In the past I had used a 1/4 " foot and/or a thick stack of painters tape or masking tape.
