I still like the earth tones-Thimbleberries, etc. I have Hunter's and fishers in my family and tend to make quilts leaning more to the outdoors.

My favorites are Moda and Maywood. They have such pretty fabrics and a lot of colors I prefer. Henry Glass is another good brand too but don't find too much of that

I buy either from Walmart or Hobby Lobby. Will last longer than me.

My favorite is Moda. It washes nicely and I like the feel. I think if I am going to snuggle up with something I want it to feel inviting. I also like their designers.

There are many brands of fabric that I think are high quality, and from there I pick the designs that I like. Studio E and Northcott are two of my favorites.

I like this sentiment. How long does a quilt really need to last? Don't we want a reason why we need to make more?

Lately, I've been drawn to Art Gallery fabrics for their interesting designs, only have one or two pieces, but will probably get more. Oh, and I love about everything Anna Maria Horner does, so Free Spirit Fabrics is another go-to.. I've always been a fan of the griege that Robert Kaufman uses so I'll look at some of their designs first. I was disappointed with the thin-ness of the Moda Grunge I bought, so I kind of steer clear of Moda, even though 20 years ago, it was my favorite.

I will work with anything as long as it doesn't feel like straw. I think every fabric has a place and am thankful for the range of choices in texture (and price) available these days.

I have no preference. I buy what I like and if it feels good to me.

Red Rooster, South Seas Imports, Moda and Michael Miller. Oh I forgot Riley Blake!
