It seems you'd really like to use this cute fabric on the front of your quilt, so....
why not surround that great center with a less obvious print to allow the points to "float" and be more present and attention-getting; then use the cute "bubbles" further away from the center. Or even in a border.

I agree it really is cute and blends well with the colors you are using.

I would choose a solid aqua instead. I agree that the fabric is lovely but I do think it takes away from the star. Your quilt is going to be beautiful!

I don't think it takes away from the star, I think that it quietly reinforces the star colors, without distracting from the star solids. JMHO

I would go for the darkest color like you have in your star. it would make that star shine bright. Then you could use the lighter for sashing then the darker again for border.

Just a thought, but have you considered a solid black...sometimes black will make other colors stand out. You could just lay it out on a piece of black and stand back and look.

It sort of makes the beautiful star fade...you need something to make all that work stand out and say "here I am"!!!!!

I saw this when you posted it before and the colors in your block really pulled the quilt together for my eye and made the star pop! I think it looks beautiful...so if you finish it and hate it feel free to send it my way!

Have you considered using the darker green? I think it would frame the star and make it pop.
