FABRIC HOARDER ON TV
#27
While watching the show about the lady with the fabric and craft supplies I finally admitted to myself that I hoard fabric and craft supplies too!!!! I've always told myself that I was stocking up for when I retired. Well, I'm retired and I have so many projects that I want to make. I'm also finding myself overwhelmed with all my supplies and don't know where to start!

What became of the guy (Peter Walsh)on Oprah's new channel? After they aired the show about the fabric hoarder, I haven't seen any of his programs since! Ya don't mess with quilters, folks. First he attacked a teacher and then a quilter--big no-nos. Most people thought it was the kids who were behind the visit from PW though. And we haven't heard anything more from the quilt lady either. Wondering how her new garage/sewing room has turned out with some use. She was sewing for Quilts of Valor.

I can't watch that show or any of the intervention type shows. They make me so sad...
A lady I knew locally had the hoarding problem with her various craft items. I never saw her house but I can imagine it, because she had her car so jam packed with stuff there was barely room for her to crawl in behind the wheel. Literally to the roof, everywhere else, so I marvel the cops didn't ticket her for driving with her view obstructed. It really was dangerous. She may have had everything she needed with her, wherever she went, but it would take her hours to find it! :o((((

I had so many different craft types saved up for 'when I retire.' Well, that was 13 1/2 years ago. I sold lots of them at a gigantic yard sale my DD's and I had last year. Most of the stuff on the 26 tables was mine. I have agreed to only have 3 types of crafts now and so far I am sticking to it.
