Why not use fabric paint or oil sticks...things that are intended for surface design on fabric. That is what you are intending, right? Permanent surface design on fabric? Check Michael's craft stores for crafty types or Dick Blick for arty types.

I too use the pigma pens and love, love. love them. Heat set and it's there. I have signed many quilts, they have been washed and the pigma ink is STILL there.

I LOVE that I can come here and get so many good ideas and from people who KNOW because they have DONE it!

I will get that pattern drawn up for her and suggest both of the pens, I dont know what her "budget" is so I think I can let that be up to her what she ends up buying.

Amma special thanks to the freezer paper idea!!! I will have to remember that one.
