Default Fabric and pattern for nurse for GD

My GD recently graduated with a degree in nursing. It was suggested that I make a wall hanging about 12 to 16".

She has several of the quilts I sewed for her so this would be more appropriate to hang in her apartment. I need a resource for fabric and a pattern. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Well, how about all or part of a panel?

There is a wall hanging quilt of plain-ish blocks with one missing. The one missing is hanging on from below. I am sure you have seen it. Having worked 40 years as a nurse I appreciated the humour and could see how it pertained to my career by times. Wish I had a hyperlink for you but that one would get my vote.

Designer Loralie Harris has a really cute “nurse” line of fabric you may enjoy working with.

Do you have an embroidery machine. I purchased a word heart shape all about the qualities of nurses. Sewed it out and framed it. Looked great. Can't get picture to upload but PM me if you want details.

I Love the nurse fabric by Lorelei. She also has the same nurses individually as embroidery designs. Fun fabric. Have some on my shelf now to make something for my niece.
