Very true "ckcowl", I forgot to mention that part...I always heat face down on a scrap of muslin.

I've used this brand because it came in a package with some hardware. I got the paper off OK but do not like the way that they are harder to sew through than other varieties - I do lots of printing onto fabric and my experience has led me to the Jacquard brand as I get the most vibrant colour and it is cheaper than a lot of the others. I would try scoring and soaking as suggested above, but not before heat setting or waiting the required amount of time to make sure the design does not wash out.

I've used Printed Treasures for many projects. Some sheets do seem to be harder to remove than others. If I can't get a corner started, I will make a tiny cut near the corner and work on starting the peeling process from there. Heating the sheet has also helped.

You can get the telephone number for any company from google. Just call the customer service and then work your way up the corporate ladder until someone gives you an answer that you like. Try this for Printed Treasures and f or JoAnn's. JoAnn's should have an answer better than what you received, and the Printed Treasures should have a customer service number to help with problems with their product.

Sometimes, using a straight pin to score the paper will assist in getting it to peel off. Also, be sure it is completely cool - sometimes letting sit for a day or two will help.

Strange, I've never had a problem removing the paper from Printed Treasures. However I appreciate the information about the Jenkins product, because I have a problem sewing by hand through the Printed Treasures.
