I did an OHIO State quilt for my grandson.
I got the 200 count, sheets at WM they come in many colors and some in striped. I bought up a bunch.
Anyway they had 2 shades of grey, and white and black.
Not the color red I needed, but I did save a bunch,
by using the sheets in the colors that I could find that
I needed..
They wash up nice and soft and are not expensieve

I found this beautiful dark grey marbled fabric on one of the sites suggested and after putting it in with my concept art to see what it would look like I have found that I am in LOVE with it! I was so set on using a solid fabric that I didn't expect to change my mind, but I think it would look so much better with the marbled fabric.
