Walmart here has two different fabric qualities for fat quarters. The fat quarter pack tied with ribbon is good quality fabric and cost more per fat quarter, the single $1 fat quarters are for fabric projects, not for quilting.

Well while the 3 target stores closest to me do not carry fabric I decided to go a bit further down the road to one that does. The selection is very limited but appealing for $5.99 a yard I found it to be better than decent quality. Far better than anything I have ever found at Walmart and right in line with Joanns top line. I picked up 7 yards of solids to add to my stash

I stopped in at the Issaquah WA one tonight, and I really was not impressed. I know one poster up-thread seemed pleased, so your mileage may vary. It was about a 4' wide display, with a few full yard cuts, matching fat quarters, some matching trims and then some one-yard cuts of canvas toile. I guess the prices were OK, but the selection was very slim.

I absolutly agree the selection was extremly thin I just think the quality is better than average soft pliable and not see through.
