    My mom had those ones on the frame that she got before the Gammill.... they are actually pretty nice. Just make sure you mark the middles as well.

    I use pillow ticking also and for the very same reason. You can get the quilt pinned evenly by following the lines on the ticking.

    I'm going to use Velcro to line up the fabrics when I get things completed. I want to get away from pins as much as I can.

    I used canvas and put industrial velcro to hold it on the leaders...works great!
