I have a business and tax license but not using it at this time but can activate it again. Most of the fabric manufactors are over seas but there are many in the united states as well. Getting fabric from the manufactor is the lowest price you can get but a person has to buy quanity. Whole sale fabric is a markup from the manufactor price and then the finial price is retail and the stores that sell fabric mark it up to what ever they want. I have the resource for buying from the manufactors and that 5 dollar fabric you buy can be less then few dollars a yard. Been really thinking of starting up a fabric store online were the prices are affordable exspecially in this economy that we live in!

Do quilt stores sell whole bolts at much lower prices than by the yard because there is not much work involved for them? I know you can find good fabrics online for something like 4$ a yard, but they seem to be older lines. Any suggestions? Thanks!
