funny, but at one time ALL of the fabrics you all mentioned have been on the market, ran their course and are now not printed due to lack of interest..hehehhe

novelty type prints are going to extinct soon...the manufacturers just can not risk printing fabrics that may or may not sell...so if your LQS is not pre-ordering the LINES of the future via a sales rep. then the fabric is NOT going to made..I know 3 designers right now that have GREAT lines on the boards, and not one manufacturer will print them!

Get used to calicoes and blenders being all that you will see soon! They sell...

Computer/techie/geek fabrics. There would be a market for these!

I second this   Also...not just muscle cars, but Mustang cars of all ages. Can't find any with a Mustang car alone on it. :(

My Mom and Sister in law did find Raggedy Ann and Andy in Shipshewanna (sp?) Indiana last year. I think that they found it in Lollies while there. Mom knows I'm a huge fan, (have them tattooed on my leg) and brought some back for me. ;) (Lucky aren't I? :D )

Video game fabrics. I see some from time to time on ebay, but they want an arm and a leg for them (some of them are vintage fabrics though). And 95% of the time its Mario. Not that I wouldn't mind Mario, but would also like to see Legend of Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and some other major video game series in a fabric line. Why can't Robert Hoffman or Moda make like a "Nintendo All Stars" or "RPG Heaven" or "8-Bit Nostolgia" fabric line?

I'm still looking for the perfect black fabric with pink sakura blossoms on them. I've seen kimonos or other things with pink blossoms on a black background, but can never find anything in a yardage. Here's a kimono collar made in a fabric that meets my specs: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Kimono-HAN-E...item20b80e4df2

This is very sad to me. Novelty fabrics are what people "love"--esp. men and teens. The older ladies tend to like the blenders more but kids and teens love special print--and men--cars, sports, nature, etc.

I want to get that cats and quilting fabric before it is discontinued....maybe now would be better than later...
