I gotta tell you that I love your avatar. It is exactly how I feel in the mornings.

I try to ignore the aches and pains. I had a DGM that gave into every pain she had and eventually let it consume her whole body and she quit moving. Arthritis. The Drs. told her that she had to keep moving but she liked to be babied and it maybe the reason my DGP died at an early age.

Doncha just love those purple slippers! Most days I just keep on going, but after 20 years the constant pain does start to wear a body down. But I know I am fortunate that I am still mobile.

Love the blocks that have been posted so far, and the meaning and symbolism. I have been trying to decide what type of block etc. and I have had my AHA moment. I have always loved the Cathedral Window block and had it in the back of my mind to make one for me someday. And so that is the one I will do! Now I have to get the directions and get started.

Tip: drinking water really does help. And if you drink a lot of soda pop it has sodium in it even diet! so if your drinking diet pop to get through temptation (which I used to do alot) it may help to drink 2 waters to 1 pop.-yeah I'm from the midwest - it's pop. ;-)

I lost 1.4 this week. Much better than last week which was .2.

Keep up the good work.

Good job Carrie! I weigh in Monday and I think I will have just a small loss. I am down now but the week ends are my weakness and I usually weigh more on Monday morning than I do on Friday morning. As long as it's less than last Monday I will be happy!

I know what you mean about the cold and rain. I can't even blame it on pain, I just hate going out in the rain. I walk to work all winter in the snow and cold but the rain just gets me down. Sun is shining today so I hope to get outside for a bit.

Don't give up you can do it! Even if you hurt just walk around the house a couple of times if it is to cold outside. Or go the the nearest mall and walk around. I know it hurts but if you don't move you will get worse.
You can do it!!!

I made some more blocks for my weight loss. These have not been squared up so they look a little wonky.
