I agree. I have on one Creative Grid ruler and it doesn't slip. I bought some invisa grip to put on my olfas to see if that helps the slipping but need to use it instead of just letting it sit in a drawer.

We also use Creative Grids. When we took a class the teacher recommended that we pick a brand and stick with it. Her favorite is CG, so we used hers and liked them, and that is what we still use. The markings are clear, and the no stick buttons on the back do help to stabilize them.

I started quilting with different types of rulers, whatever size I needed that the store I was carried, I bought. So all of them were different (Quilt in a day, Omnigrid, Olfa, and a few others).
Then I bought ONE Creative Grid.
I have since replaced every single ruler with a Creative Grid ruler. They're perfect for me.

Kay England's Nifty Notions rulers. Olfa's yellow lines are difficult for me to read. TruCut rulers and rotary cutter that rides on a rail for cutting strips and squares. And any ruler by Deb Tucker for cutting and trimming specific blocks.
