Faintly Artistic

I recently cut all my scraps into usable strips/squares. I had a fairly large stack of 2" squares so started looking for a way to use them. I am in the middle of piecing a granny squared lap quilt. Of course, I didn't have quite enough scraps, so have had to cut a few from FQ's, but it is looking nice. I came up with a no-waste way of putting it together...if anyone is interested I would be happy to write a tutorial.
