Are you aware that feather comforters wash very nicely in a washing machine, and dry very nicely in a dryer! They fluff up beautifully but take two dryer cycles long.
Ps
They look terrible all squashed when you take them out of the washer, but fluff up in the dryer to be like new!

Truly feathers wash well - haven't you ever seen a bird taking a bath?
It is funny, us and them take baths....who else do you know that does?
