I want ot make al my gifts this year. Since I began quilting, that is all I wish to do! Go figure, right? Well, I have a girl int he family who loves board games, so I thought I'd make a quilted checker board and make the chips from Yo yo's. Does anyone know of any other quilted games to make? I've seen the Sudoku quilt's, I thought about making a grid board and keep the 9 sets of 9 blocks separate so you could have a different game each time. Any ideas?

Sorry I don't have any ideas for you but I like the idea. I'm curious to see the responses to this. Good luck.

How about Parcheesi, with buttons for the playing pieces? We used to have a game called Tribulation that had a 10x10 grid of random numbers 1-9. You drew a number from the pile (1-50) and you got a point (we just kept the number chip we found) if you were the first one to find a 3 number combination that equaled that number (25 could be 9x2+7 or 6x5-5). The 3 numbers had to be in order, in a straight line, and touch on a side or corner. I made one for my kids at school and wrote the 1-50 numbers on poker chips. Winner was the one with the most points when the last number combo was found. It was a lot of fun!

Twister. I'm not quite sure how you'd make the spinner, but the big mat with the circles would be an interesting quilt. IMO

Twister would be very interesting. I think it would be better on a quilt than on that slippery mat they give you when you buy it in the store.

Tic - tac - toe would be simple... could use yo-yos for this too.
