Welcome to the Quilting Board from another Central Ontarian!!

Central Ontario is pretty broad and we could be miles away from each other.
... so it's pretty hard to know how close these may be fore you.

Quilt Junction has always had wools ....

Creekbank Sewing was in the RxR Woolly Block Adventure, so, I guess that they have wools ...

I know I have seen wools elsewhere, but they haven't been on my radar, so haven't really kept track!
Good Luck!

Hello and welcome. YOu might consider looking at thrift shops. You can purchase inexpensive wool garments and felt them yourself. Look for 100% wool labels and/or dry clean only. I find that ladies blazers are a great weight to work with. You first deconstruct the garment. If there are any parts with fused interfacing, remove it with a warm to hot iron. You may have to experiment a bit, but I use a piece of muslin and a steam iron. I put the interfaced side up, cover with the cloth & use a lot of steam. Start at one edge and slowly work your way up, pulling the interfacing off when it's still warm. Then I stick the pieces in a pillow case and baste or pin it closed. wash on highest heat and agitation. dry flat.

Welcome from an Eastern Ontarian! I don't know a whole lot about wool but this place looks interesting: http://www.customwoolenmills.com/wool_shop/carded_wool

Again I'd suggest Google. I did and got quite a few "hits".
I also looked at Amazon, ca (Canada) and there was some on there.

Good luck!

I think Cherished Pieces in Tillsonburg has them,
https://www.cherishedpieces.com/

And I think The Hobby Horse in Georgetown also has them,

I agree, look at estate sales, thrift stores, yard sales for wool garments and blankets to felt yourself. Cheaper than buying off the bolt and easy to do. You can dye it with Kool-aid or other dye if you want different colors. Should find plenty in your neck of the woods.
