    Default Finding specific patterns

Let's say I'm scrolling through the internet and I come across a quilting square that I would love to make. But I don't know the name of it. It's not in any of the quilting books I own. How do I go about identifying it so that I can get the pattern in the size I want?

If you posted a picture of the block here and asked what pattern is this, I bet you would have lots of help identifying the block. Who knows, others may be inspired too if they like the block.

Thanks. They look like pretty straightforward blocks. There is the square-and-diamond block in two different sizes. And then there is the diamond within the rectangle block. Thanks for help in identifying these.

Which one is the Storm at Sea? The square within the diamond?

Maybe some day I'll be able to identify blocks - bam - just like that! I'm so impressed!

I just received the die for this one. There are different layouts that make the block look magical too.
