Yes, I am VERY proud of her. Here are some more pictures that she was unable to post. I think she did a wonderful job of selecting fabrics, and although she's a new quilter it's pretty evident that she knows her way around a sewing machine. She even made the pieced corners, and made them beautifully.

I really appreciate all the encouragement. That is why I so enjoy this board. I had watched F & P last November and saw the Ozark Table Topper. I thought I THINK I could do one of those for my SS ladies. So 24 toppers later, I decided to try and make a top. Saw this pattern, loved it, purchased it and started out. I had never heard of a Y seam although I have now. I have sewn for most of my life but it was for clothing and patching and I started on a treadle machine, but I am not THAT old! We were poor and that's what we had. I want to say that Dunster answered my questions and I had a few. Her customer service was AMAZING. I can see why people get hooked, and yes I am. I have 5 more projects waiting. See material, love material, buy material, no more sleep!
