I depend if you want the binding to show or not. Pin on a scrap of red up and ask Hot Rod what his opinion is!

The red will probably scream next to the black.

If you have leftover of the red in the quilt, up use that. Reds are hard to match.

I sometimes use more than one fabric for the binding. Have to join fabrics to get the length needed anyway. I like to mix them up!!

I agree with the majority--red binding would make it really "pop" and look great. you did a wonderful job.

I usually do the binding the same as the last border. I do like the idea of the red flange before the black binding.
