Beautiful! Your stitches are so nice and even (and small!) it looks like you've been hand-quilting for years! Anxious to see more of your work...thanks!

Love it! And i love your border. I was looking for a border design for my scrappy quilt and I think that i have found what I am looking for. I want a border similar to yours. Now to look through my magazines and see what i have that will work.
What an awesome quilt. Kudos for sticking with it! You should be proud!

Thank you very much for your generous comments... I am blushing!

I guess I became determined after many months of not knowing what to do l
Most of all, I hated to leave it unfinished and having to say "I can't"... that's why it took me so long! No plans, not even sewing rows one at a time, it went in all directions, leaving it for months at a time, going back to it for a few weeks, but boy, did I learn a lot...

I beleive in .... when there's a will, there's a way... call me stubborn also, it's ok! loll

if you have 2 or 3 years... I am a slow quilter! and don't look to close loll it is not "perfect" every where but that, I can accept.

I think your first quilt is absolutely gorgeous! It's hard to believe it is your first, and judging from the results, won't be your last.

You keep this up and you can become a quilt teacher pretty quickly. It's a beautiful quilt!

Absolutely beautiful! I have been quilting for many years, and it is still a learning experience. I occasionally just pick something I have never tried because I love it. Happy Quilting!

I went back to your original posting showing each block you learned. Enjoyed seeing each block, the process, color choices, patterns, and how it all has come together. Good inspiration to get all my wayward blocks out and get them into a quilt. Thanks for sharing your learning experience.
