I got the same machine last week at the Salvation Army. Our machines are from the same date 4/8/46. I paid $70 for mine and not in a cabinet but has a nice dome case. I am taking mine in for service. I didn't know the feed dogs can be lowered and you can FMQ. Thanks for the tip.

Serial # is AG647013
I think she is a Model #15 I went to the web site and for that serial # it said 15 quanity 20000 on April 8 1946. Not sure if that is right if someone knows differently let me know. Foot peddle and 2 bobbins is all that I got with her. But that is ok I just want to do stright stitch with her. Can't find a manual went to web site said could no find for that serial # But the I went into the manual section and the only 15s are treadle but down loaded the manual for free and see if it has me thread the right way. If any one knows anything about her let me know.
I know she isn't a featherwight (shes heavy) but for the price I just couldn't pass her up.
Needs a little more cleaning up

I just got my 15-90 about two weeks ago and she is a beauty too, looks almost brand new, has Queen Ann table and bench. Only difference is I got mine for a bit more money, like $125.00 but she gave me a discount and it was $113 and I considered myself very lucky to find her. Just tested her out and she sews a fine stitch, but haven't used her yet. So, you were VERY lucky to find yours for that price.
