don't beat yourself up, because of your mistakes. there are not a lot of people that can actually make quilts. the most important thing is to 'just get 'er done'..... finish it up, and love it, and learn from your mistakes. and make another one. maybe the single irish chain from elainor burns in 2 colors only. a great starter quilt...... congrats on just getting it done. a lot of people get a top made, and never do a single other quilt. take it and have it quilted someplace for $40. and be done...... she'll layer it and everything for you....

No wonder you chose that! It's gorgeous. However I can see the potential for things not lining up.
As others have said, just tackle the places that are the most obviously off kilter and let the rest slide. As you get more experience you will become more accurate with cutting, stitching and pressing. In the meantime enjoy what you are doing and don't be too hard on yourself!

Keep in mind - quilts are hand sewn by humans. They will never be perfect. You see your errors much easier than anyone else will. What you learn from this project is more important than the quilt. Now you're back to it so finish it so you can experience the rest of the process. Then you will be more likely to go on to your next project. And remember, progress, not perfection. We're all learning all the time.
