I use triangulations and wouldn't use anything else. You can attach any number in a row and they are perfect. I is like paper piecing, but it really works great.

I also use the Triangulations for foundation geese. They are so accurate using the paper piecing method. I made a quilt using up scraps make the geese. I purchase newsprint weight paper on Amazon, much cheaper than the paper sold for FPP.

Purchase the Wing Clipper ruler by Deb Tucker, its a great ruler and worth the investment. Be sure that you don't make flying geese with the directions where you sew along the outside edges and then cut apart. When you make make them that way (which is really fast) you end up with all the geese on the bias. Bias stretches and will present problems later. I find it best to make the a little larger and square them up with the Wing Clipper. Another great method is done by purchasing the Triangulation CD (again worth the investment) and really accurate. Take your choice and good luck!

After many trials, most with questionable success, I finally broke down and purchased Deb Tucker's WING CLIPPER tool.......multiple sizes with the one tool and can I tell you EVERY ONE I make is just perfect! I had to play a bit to get the hang of it ( she does have wonderful HOW TO videos on her Studio 180 Design website) but like all of her tools, your results are wonderful and accurate.

I use the "no waste" method that does 4 at a time, also! Its wonderful!

Teresa from Down Under (I think) has a method for creating 48 at one time. Looks like a plan to me. She has a FB page and a website (blog). I think this is the correct terminology. I know it was 48.

Oh, no, I had a senior moment. When I was running the vacuum, I had the sinking feeling that I was wrong in responding to this. It was for 48 HSTs at a time, Not Flying Geese! I apologize.
