How neat! After I get done with block and before going to the next project, I am going to go back and learn how to do this!

Not sure this went to the right place, so I will re-do.
After I get done with this project,I am going to go back and learn to do this.

This is the method I usually use - the rulers are really slick and the blocks are beautiful when you're done - very precise. :)
