These are the two options I have to decide between. I wanted a connector or alternate block of some kind. I liked the simple cornerstone sashing. It does look good with the folded corners block. I was trying for something more elaborate, but sometimes, simpler is better. I really like the sashing on the Connecting Threads version and may change to that idea on the first quilt. Thank you so much for your ideas and suggestions.

Edited to add: This link will take you straight to the PDF for the block. https://www.patchworksquare.com/mf/f...uilt-block.pdf

Stumbled onto a pattern today on Annie's Craft Store website and thought of this thread as soon as I saw it. Can't figure out how to link it but the pattern name is Fat Quarter Ripple Quilt. I graphed it out alternately with your quilt block and they go together well, both are a six patch and the center side patches that form a flying geese are echoed in the same center patches of this one. Also, the corners are four HSTs that play opposite the single large corner HST of the Folded Corner block. Sorry, I don't know how to navigate the internet very well to provide a link, it's a blue and white nine block quilt draped on a Adirondack chair in the photo.
