With prices as high as they have been lately for LQS fabrics, it is nice to find fabrics you forgot you had! It's happened to me a number of times, too.

Not long ago I looked in a shopping tote bag I had hanging in my sewing room closet expecting to find one thing in it when I discovered a group of fabrics perfect for a beautiful spring wall hanging I had forgotten I had bought. So happy will be starting it soon!

I don't have such luck. No goodies to be found in this home.

Yup! Been there, done that. Pre-Christmas, I found a box full of runner kits I had totally forgotten that I owned.

I have misplaced some Christgmas fabric that I bought a couple of months ago. I would much rather find fabric than lose it!

Oh, yes! I know what is in the sewing room because I cleaned it recently but I do have some stuff in storage that will be a great surprise when I get to it.

Who me??? Never. LOL. Even after purging my stash before we had to move to a 2 bedroom apt. I've found some fabric I knew I bought, but hadn't seen in forever. I'm slowly trying to get all my "ducks in a row" so to speak so I can find what I want when I go look for it. Yes, I know, in a perfect world, but I can try. It is fun when you discover fabric you had forgotten about though.

I'm getting ready to go through my bins to make 2 1/2inch strips for a scrappy. I can't wait to see what all is in there.

Maybe 2013 will be the year I finally get all my stash organized. I've started cutting left overs into 2 1/2, 2 and 1 1/2 inch strips/squares. I want to keep all larger pieces separated by approximate size as well.

Unfortunately I'll never get really organized. I simply do not have the space. Drat!
