Default Frames and Carriages

Is there an "industry standard" for frame rails (and carriages)? For example, would a carriage for a Handi Quilter longarm work on a Grace frame (for a similar size Grace)? (Or vice versa)

I doubt very much that there is an “industry standard” for frames and carriages for long-arms. Both these items are significantly different from manufacturer to manufacturer. My HQ set up was no where near the same as my Innova.

No, the HQ and Grace carriages are completely different.

Not only are they completely different, but HQ frames are more robustly-built than Grace frames.

No, as others have said, there's no standard. In fact the carriage has to fit both the machine and the frame, which further complicates it.
