El Burns says her blocks dont always come out the right size. She uses them at the size they are and adjusts the other parts to fit.
I do this alot cause my blocks never come out the right size as the pattern even when I use a scant 1/4 inch. Now my points are perfect even if the block is not the size it should be, it dosnt matter.
Good luck and Im sure things will work out anyway.

I feel your pain and frustration all too well. There's always a next time and our pets love our quilts so it won't go to waste.

beautiful quilt! and it can be fixed you know!! i like the idea of putting on a button over the points that don't match up-plus it gives it more of a decorative look. also like the idea of tying up the points that don't match up! both are easy fixes that can be done very quickly.
SAVE THE QUILT!! Do the raffle, i'm sure any money they get will be appreciated i'm sure.

Were you serious about the tickets being 10 cents each? I probably would sell them for $1 each, maybe with 6 tickets for $5 and 12 tickets for $10.

No I wasn't serious!! LOL It is up to them to decide and your prices sound about what most people do around here.

The easiest fix is give the quilt to them, see how they display the quilt and the flaws will probably be visible only to you. I know that I bought quilts before I became a fussy quilter and they have lots of flaws. Just having the right fabric is half the quilt and putting it together with the colors you did makes it a perfect quilt. Be proud of your work, you did a very nice job and generous act for Andy.
