What are your latest & greatest new gadgets for your quilting adventures?? Let's have fun: maybe not new to you but the purple chain cutting gizmo... Love it!

I have been using a rechargable moustache trimmer to rip out long seams. Zips right through.

Yes Whitetiger, I stole one from my hubby after a gadget guru in a quilting class let me in on her secret! Lol

Love using the mustache trimmer rather than the seam ripper...a REAL time and frustration saver! It's one of my favorite tools.

I bought my husband one of the battery headlamps that you can focus the beam directly on your work. I "borrowed" it for my sewing room. It helps when sewing with black/dark colors, especially at night. It's also good for hand work when you need more light directly on your stitches. Below is a sample. They are readily available at hardware stores, WalMart, etc., in a range of prices.

I go to a lot of retreats and classes and the chairs are never that great. I bought the Gypsy Sit Upon. No more sore tail bone or back. I use it for my sewing chair at home too. It looks like a deflated ball but it's magic for me.
