    Didn't I read just the other day that someone thought the Gingher wasn't very sharp? You might want to search the board.

    I absolutely love mine! I have the Gingher rotary cutter too. Love 'em both! Spendy but worth the extra $$$$.

    I love anything Gingher but hate seam rippers in general because of what they are used for. Is the Gingher different than others?

    With the new surgical steel hook rippers, you don't pick the stitches out, you zip them open.

    I just bought the Alex Anderson 4 in 1 Essential Sewing Tool and think it has the best seam ripper ever. I like my Gingher scissors but not the rotary cutter, the blade doesn't seem to last as long as Olfa cutters.

    Gramquilter2...I have to agree with you...Gingher rotary cutter blades don't stay sharp very long...and they're expensive!

    I know it's a lot more expensive but I have been wanting one ever since I first tried it so I bit the bullet and ordered one last week. Hasn't arrived yet
