I will book mark this and when I have a moment I will look through my UFO's; might come up with one or two.

Quote: CAN THIS UFO BE SAVED?

I gave up on this 'Garden Gate' wall hanging. It is made using fusible web, and you are supposed to machine applique all the edges. I didn't use solid black fabric, and the on cut edges you can see white. I thought about going over it with a black Sharpie! Also, at the time I started it, I didn't have the good machine I have now and the zig-zag stitching is horrible. (only did a small amount) The background fabric is McKenna Ryan, and it is 25" x 35".

Free to anyone who can rescue it. :)
GONE! This is beginning to be FUN :!: :!:

Sorry, I did not know my previous post posted twice. Computer issues :(

I have 12 Christmas blocks from a swap up for grabs. Lets try something different; I have 3 sons and 3 GGC so the 3rd person to PM me will be the winner. ;-)

That's a fun idea. I like the randomness of it ;-)

Quote: I think its a great idea. But then I don't have UFO's. Well I have one that is ready to be sandwiched. I have no doubt that I will finish that one because its for my son. I just need to buy batting when I can save up for it and its on sale.
Its generous quilters like you who motivate me to keep on going! I've thought about quitting so many times when my DH tells me that I'm wasting his money! If I hear "Its not a necessity" one more time, I'am gonna belt him one! I'm still working on my Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt, but thanks to a couple of quilt angels in here I have enough fabric for one more project! Haven't a clue what its gonna be, but its nice to know that I don't have to save and hide $$$!
Hmmm!?! Sounds like we're in very similar boats. LOL! But you gotta do what you gotta do.

So it's been a month or more and I'm dying to know how everyone is doing with all their UFO exchanges.

Quote: I'm with you Tiffany. The only reason I have UFO is because I started something, block of the month then dent to a quilt class, starting another project and maybe already working on completing something else. I usually have a few things going at once. Right now I will have to drop all the other projects as I want to finish appliquing a book for our Vicar's new baby before he returns to the seminary. That is why I get so many UFO's.
My sis has one she began 25 years ago. I now have that too, trying to get that done for her to enjoy while she is still with us. Part of that was stolen by robbers who broke into her home years ago and wrapped all her Hummel's in the fabric and hauled it away. So it may end up as a lap quilt.
 *Bleeping* robbers!

I've been doing good on getting my UFOs down to a more manageable level. I had over a hundred and am down to 83 right now. I was at 80 but I did about 12 projects and 3 of them ended up with parts that have become UFOs. I'll get to them, eventually. I'm always working on at least 1 UFO so I don't feel guilty. ;)
