Default Glue basting a quilt marked with wash-out pen

Have any of you glue basted a quilt after marking the quilting design with a wash-out pen? I'm wondering if there is enough moisture in the glue to fade some of the markings.

If you do this do Not iron/press your quilt to set/dry the glue, you will set the ink/markings. As for the (moisture) question... People generally use the glue very lightly, if the fabric is thin and the glue heavy that (might) happen. One way to avoid it would be to put the glue on and give it a couple minutes to just be (tacky) before smoothing the quilt top on to the batting. This has worked for me with basting spray
