    Default Going to Chicago

I am going on a bus trip to Chicago this weekend and will be shopping downtown and in the Miracle Mile. Do you know of any quilt shops (yarn shops) or quilt events there on Saturday Nov. 12th? Thanks for suggestions in advance!

Sorry, but there are no quilt shops in downtown Chicago;however, just north of chicago in the burbs there are tons of really wonderful shops. You will enjoy your Chicago trip even without any quilt shops....trust me....beautiful city!

Nothing quilty going on this weekend...
And nothing in the downtown area in quilt shops...there is one in Bucktown, a few miles from downtown.
There are lots in the suburbs...
Fabric ETC 2 is not too far out in the suburbs, in Elmhurst, and pretty easy access for the toll road.

Thanks for the information. I didn't think there were but it has been a few years since I have been in Chicago. The Shedd and Museums and Fields will just have to fill my day. The weather sound pretty good too! I am really looking forward to my day.

sorry to burst your bubble...but, Fields doesn't exist anymore....it is now Macy's.
I still have a very hard time going there to shop. I really really really miss Fields....it was such an institution.
