Super quilt..I have not done a rag quilt yet but will certainly keep this one in mind. It will be really cozy after being washed and I have great liking for the 30's reproductions.

I haven't made one yet but, looks good to me. Make sure you quilt a line through both ways of each square. Clip it and you are finished. Nice colors.

Looks great! I always double seam around the quilt in case I snip too close. If the store has them get Heritage rag scissors. They are the most comfortable to use.
    Got fabric?

Your quilt looks great and no one would ever think of it as a "seat of your pants" quilt. I don't have the rag scissors yet either, but I have read that they make the snipping go a lot quicker and easier on your fingers.

If you do all your quilts by the seat of your pants you'll be winning ribbons soonest.

Great Job. Looks like your "flying" off to a great finish. I like it very much. Didn't know there were special rag scissors. Great tips ladies. This is on my list of things to try. Will book mark this so I remember where I saw it.

Do one row with your regular scissors so you can really apprecate the rag snips.

Very Nice. Love the colors. Take it to the laundromat for the first washing. Let them deal with all the fuzz that comes off the clippings. This is the quilt that stays on my couch year round. So cozy that my husband thinks all my quilts should be rag quilts.
