There is some dye-setting liquid stuff on Dharma's website (they sell a lot of dying supplies)-sorry I cannot remember what it is called. I think you are supposed to set it first, then use the synthropol second. That is what someone here on the board said.

I washed 6 new bright red hand towels with my light green bath towels and one color catcher. The color catcher came out red and there was NO bleeding into my light green towels. Works great. I've done quilts also with no problems. LOVE THEM. Brand name is Shout. Don't be afraid to use them.

The brand name is "SHOUT" color catcher. That might make it a little easier to locate.
