I've heard that bugs don't eat something that smells like lavender, so this product may eliminate tat problem with starch. I have to try it, too! I've never seen it at Jo Ann's, but that could be because I haven't been looking for it!
For those who applique, I use Best Press for my freezer paper method because it makes a much softer press around the paper template and is easier to needle through. If you prefer a heavier starch and want the lavender smell, Faultless now makes a lavender spray starch as well. in Heavy but Magic Starch makes a Lavender one in regular strength and it is much less expensive that Mary Ellen's Best Press. Keep an eye out for it at your local grocers and at Wal-Mart and Target. I know I got mine at one of these places or maybe even several of these stores. I always keep plenty of starch and also sizing if I can find it in my house because I do lots of quilting and mostly applique.
Thanks for the informtion on Best Press. Will be on the look out for it!
Will you show us what you do with the new fabrics?
Lovely fabrics - I've got some of the one on the left - I'm using it in the pioneer BOM!

OK -- what's the difference between "starch" and "sizing"?????
This starch is also supposed to be good for long term storage of fabric as the "bugs" who like to chew on fabric don't like the lavender scent.
