Just finished a snowman wall hanging - hoped to have it done by Jan 1st, but life got in the way. Temps in the 30's... Where do you hail from. My two sisters in my home state of Minnesota are ecstatic today cause it got over 30!

Well, here it is early evening and as I check in with the board I see a post from this morning. Today, while DH is watching golf from Dibu (spelled wrong I am sure), I headed to my sewing room and am making him a 12-inch heart block. Tonight I will stipple it with white thread on the red portion and red thread on the white portion. Gee, I could have spent a fraction of the time involved by running to the store for a card, but thought this would be nicer. Now I wonder what in the world he will do with such a critter! Maybe hang it on the refrig along with his trusted coupons!? LOL

I have a few more quilted Christmas blocks to finish (for next Christmas) and I have one quilt to baste, quilt and bind and a few more UFOs in the pile. I am trying to do each project to finish before I start on the next. It is fun to try but it seems I always have two or more going at the same time.

I spray basted four full-size quilts, on the floor but all the tops that I have finished are now ready for spray basting.

I'm catching up on some laundry and putting the borders on a "Times and seasons " quilt. And perhaps pull up some weeds.

I need only 8 log cabins blocks for this "welcome to my cabin' quilt. 4 going one direction and 4 going the other with a slightly different color in the ones going right. By the looks of it all, I need to do the right ones over again. Geez, only 8 blocks and i mess up 4 of them. So that is how my day is going. Weather report. We got up to 52 here, we'll sure have a nice layer for ice in the parking area and down our long driveway. Least we are closer to spring.

I'm sewing the rows together on a red, white & blue rail fence that will be given to charity. Plan to have it ready for the borders by eod.

btw... took a nice, long and needed nap today too. This body was tired! ;-)
