I have every brand of sewing scissors on the market and my favorite by far is Kai. I have several sizes - small snips, medium all-purpose, and large shears. I even have a Kai nail clipper.
One of the things I love about my Kai shears is the blades are micro-serrated. They grip the fabric as it's being cut; no more slippage. You can get them sharpened for the cost of shipping, also.

I had a pair of Ginghers that needed sharpening, so I purchased a pair of Fiskars. The Fiskars were so stiff that I find myself NOT using them. I still haven't found someone to sharpen the Ginghers, so I bought another pair! I don't buy them (scissors) very often, but when I do, I buy good quality ones!

My oldest boy bought me a pair of those Fiskers Spring loaded ones. Those are the ones I use most of the time. Its just so nice to have the scissors open themselves. Less work. Though the Wiss Weiss?? ones I inherited from my grandmother and used for years make great decorations on the wall. Expecially those pinking shears.

My largest cutting scissors,
I love my razor edge Fiskars with the storage sheath.

For mid midsize sewing scissors,
I LOVE my Havel's. I have the 5.5" length both flat and curved. And the bonuses are the serrated edges and the large finger loops. SUCH a help when you are trying to make fine cuts.

For my small scissors.
The ones that I keep at my machine - affixed by a magnet - are the purple handled appllique scissors. They are 4" long and 1" blades. The best prices I have found are at Connecting Threads.

Hope this helps. Let us know what you decide.

I love my Havel's. I just ordered two more pairs from AQS, which has them at a great price with your member discount: https://shop.americanquilter.com/too...html?limit=100
I use Gingher's as well, and like their small scissors for next to my sewing machine:
