Default Got to see my friend use long arm!

I am so excited! A friend of mine had a quilt that needed quilted. I had told her about a local place that "rented" out her longarm and she went and did a table runner. She called me last week and asked if I wanted to go with her while she quilted a larger quilt. of course i jumped at the chance. The woman who owns the shop belongs to a quilt guild i also belong to. I could not believe my friend had her top done in less than two and half hours. Got me so excited to maybe be able to do this myself! i have my husbands concert t shirts that i have been promising him a t shirt quilt for years. It was so much fun to watch being done and looking around her room at all the stuff she was working on and had finished. She is located in salem ohio so i am going to try to put a link on here in the other section for anyone who lives in the area that maybe interested. Salem is about 1/2 hour south of youngstown.

Be careful, it can be addictive! I started out renting time on a long arm and now I have one of my own. I loved the process so much but wanted the ability to explore/try more features on my own and in my own home where I could work around household tasks etc.

So glad you had such fun!
