    Okay.. so I'll probably be looking for a little hand sewing project to work on over my lunch hours at work when the weather gets cool and then cold and wintery. I have seen a few of you post GORGEOUS Grandmother's Garden quilts here.

    I know that the majority of you hand stitched these and that is fine with me too and know it won't be done overnight... I would love to make one myself. Are there any pattern links to these patterns here online? Can anyone give me any advice besides lots of patience and a bottle of red wine while I'm making it???

    I Agree I to would love to make one myself but they always look complicated to make ...I have a feeling theres probably a secret to making all those hexigons fit so perfectly...so I agree with Quilting Aggi if anyone knows of a good pattern that won't send me off to the nut house attempting to make one I sure would like to try this one myself....

    Granny Cat.. once we do get a pattern, we should probably keep ourselves motivated and encourage one another from tearing our hair out and searching for another bottle of wine!!! LOL

    absolutly ...kind of an accountabilty thing...haha...but yes it seems like we are going to need all the encouragment we can get once we get our hands on a pattern...good luck to us...haha

    Ther you go........it's for machine stitching the hexagons but you could adapt it to hand stitching it easily enough.
