Very well said. I feel the same way. I know when I go to QB, I will learn something that will benefit me in becoming a better quilter.

I'm fairly new to quilting -- only about 2 years. I love this board for all the wonderful quilters who answer my questions. If I need a question answered, it doesn't take very long for me to get a response from one of you. Thanks to all of you who are so quick to answers the questions when we "newbies" need help!

I appreciate the trust and open-ness. I love being able to ask a question and get a kind, immediate, helpful answer, and I love the encouragement given to me and that I see given to others. I have learned so much and seen so many beautiful works that have inspired me. I feel like I know some of you, even though I am still a pretty new member!

I belong to only one other forum on the web and it is run with an iron fist (to prevent spammers, apparently). The information I get there is excellent, but the "feel" is totally different, and you are always very aware that the Mods on that site know waaaaaaay more than you ever will...very very different from QB, and it made me realize how special QB is!

I simply love everything about the board, I am always talking about the information, patterns, referred links and the beautiful quilts I see here. I don't remember how I stumbled on the site, but I am forever thankful for finding it! I wait every morning (impatiently) for the daily postings and never delete it until I've gone over every inch at least three times. Everyone is so kind and helpful, thank you everyone for sharing you skills with a new quilter who espires to be justs like many of you.

I have experienced many extremely talented individuals who are so unselfish and giving of their knowledge. The people on this board are quick to help a fellow quilter and ask nothing in return. They are generous in sharing their talents and photos so that the rest of us might be inspired. This board is truly a gift.

This board is one of the first places I go each morning. I love all the information and pictures. Many days it inspires me to get in the sewing room and get busy. I feel like I am with friends when I am here. I love this board.

I echo all of the previous posts and would like to add that I really appreciate the search feature. It's like having an imense quilt encyclopedia at my fingertips! I appreciate each and every member of this board, and would also like to voice my appreciation to the moderators and all who keep it running. THANK YOU!!!

YOU GUYS ARE MAKIN' ME CRY!

Excuse me while I go get eye wipers. I have learned so much on this board. My favorite thing is finding an address to a site that I can just click on to get a tutorial or a picture. Thank you all sooooo much!

As a new quilter, when I joined these boards everyone made me feel so welcome. This group of folks is always there to lend a hand and guide you thru what looks so hard to us, but easy to them. Never once have they complained that they have had that same question a million times before, they just answer it with warmth and care. To me this is a very special place, and I visit here more than I should. I would get alot more done!!
