Great Courses?
Has anyone taken the "Quilting Essentials" classes from Great Courses? I've been quilting for over 30 years, but am curious to see if this would be beneficial. I have a tough time picking out fabrics/colors and could use some guidance with that...among other things I'm sure!

Is this the class you are asking about? https://www.thegreatcourses.com/cour...nd-beyond.html
I haven't taken any classes directly from this site, but the reviews on this one are excellent (except for one) and it appears to cover a lot of ground. If you do decide to take it I hope you'll give us a review here.

Lynn on The Stitch youtube channel put up a video last week on how she picked the fabric for a table runner she made I found this helpful as I have trouble picking fabric to go with a focus fabric.

Yes, that's the one, Dunster. It looks very comprehensive...over 15 hours! I haven't taken any courses through that company before, but it looks like they do get really good reviews. The courses are quite speedy if you don't take advantage of the sales. Lafpeaches, I couldn't find that you tube channel! Thanks for your thoughts all of you, as I continue to waver!

I don't have any of their quilting, sewing DVD's but lots of others. They have sales a lot, that is when I buy. I have never been disappointed in a "class" and I have MANY. I am doing a 36 geology series right now. I like them.

Thanks for the link dunster. And Holy Cow. Great Courses looks like the real deal. They are very detailed, organized and in depth. I'm glad these were mentioned here as I was unaware of them. There are 2 courses I am interested in.
