I think a dark sash... and try moving the one in the lower right to one of pink canoes on the next row...there are two with abutting corners. The tan in the corner is blah.

I think sashing would really set them apart and give some balance to the blocks Nice find Be sure to share when the quilt is done, Anxious to see how you put your own twist to them.

What a great find. Putting it on the design wall is the best way of figuring it out. . I would sash too since the fabrics are all different. And look at sashing colors you wouldn't normally think of, I have one quilt I used a navy pindot with and another that I used brown with. Neither color was really in the quilt. Its what brings it together. Try a deep green maybe or a shade of grey. or maybe a burgandy color. I make strips and hang them with the blocks . I start out with about 10 and narrow it down as I pass by. :-) Good luck it will be gorgeous

Wow, you are a lucky one indeed. I love the pattern and the variety of colors. Please post a "finished" picture when you decide how you want them placed.
