Our walmart has just been re-set and we still have our fabric on the bolt. The fabric prices have gone up as I expected with the lack of rain we have had this yr. We have had 38 days of triple digets already this yr and breaking records about everyday. 104 yesterday. No cotton and soon no beef unless we get some badly need rain.

Colonial Heights has fabric. From what I've heard it's a small section. The one in Elizabethton just did a remodel and shrunk in size.

The Wal Mart I shop at was making space for fabric Friday. I never see anyone buying the crafty stuff and flowers they had. I really don't need anymore fabric, but, who knows.

I was able to get a quick look at some of the new pre-cuts that are coming in. I'm usually not one for pre-cuts. but these were really pretty!

I also found out that the crafts will be moving up in front of our stationary/celebrations area and we are getting a full wall of fabrics, pre-cuts, vinyl (of some sort) plus more notions.

So of the items are starting to come in and if they will let me do some rearranging I can fit it in to the space we have now ---- at least for a little while.

We will wait and see what they let me do.

    My customers are excited!

    More details on the expansion!

We are getting a lot more bolt fabrics in, more precuts, more batting and more notions! The area will be just for fabric and sewing!

The crafts are also expanding but moving to another location in the store.

The yarn is also changing it's location and going to carry kids yarn (? not sure what that will be).

They will have to do some major moving of the aisles to make room for it, can't wait to have it done.

Bad part is they are doing it during the time we are in the middle of counting yardage for inventory. THIS SHOULD BE FUN! ;)

I'll share more as I find out!

I got a preview of some of the notions that will be on the new set. It was like Christmas! So many new things that customers have been asking for! So many things that we (WM) never carried before!

    Can't wait!
